AirportICE® Version 5.3.0 is on the ftp site for download by airports on a maintenance plan.  This new version adds the following features:

1.  The ability to designate what access codes authorized signers may assign.  Now authorized signers can be able to assign all codes (the default), or be limited to the codes they can assign.  User security was also added for this feature.

2.   Other custom functionality for airport customers.

INSTALL NOTES

Log onto the ftp site at ftp://ftp.intellisoftusa.com to download this update.  You will notice that are Database Changes, Executable, and Install folders.

Caution - You must run the script "Database Changes.sql" on your SQL Server database before using either of the following methods to install the new exectable.  Copy this script down to your server and run it using SQL Query Analyzer if running SQL Server 2000 or, in SQL Server 2005, right click on the appropriate database in the explorer, select new query and copy and paste this query into the box.

If you wish to install by using the installer do the following:

 1.     Copy the Install folder down to your computer.

 2.     Double click the executable and follow the directions.

If you wish to install by copying the new executable over the previous:

 1.     Copy the contents (AirportICE.chm, AirportICE®_Administrators_Guide.chm, and AirportICE.exe) to your AirportICE® installation folder.
